Andrés Alejandro Plazas Malagón is a Data Management Software Scientist for the Vera C. Rubin Observatory. The Rubin Observatory will generate up to 20 terabytes of data a night. It is Andrés’s job to write software to characterize and eliminate the imprints of the instruments and detectors on that data.
