Chile is considered to be the “Capital of Astronomy” because of its steady atmosphere and very dark transparent skies. In this virtual public show we will explore three aspects of astronomy in Chile, the skies themselves, observatories found there, and the science being uncovered. Hosts for this program are Derek Demeter (planetarium director of the Emil Buehler Planetarium), Shannon Schmoll (planetarium director of the Abrams planetarium at Michigan State University), and Tiffany Stone Wolbrecht (planetarium lecturer at The Ward Beecher Planetarium at the Youngstown State University in Ohio).
