Kathy Vivas is an Astronomer who works with the Dark Energy Camera on the Blanco Telescope at CTIO. She does her own research, and also works as a collaborator for the Dark Energy Survey. Kathy is from Venezuela, but has been living in La Serena and working for CTIO for seven years. In this Zoom webinar / Facebook Live event, we will learn about Kathy’s job, her background, and a little about her life outside astronomy.
